Nest - charming, comfortable beach villa

Very comfortable stay in Port Fairy Positive: We had everything we needed for a restful two night stay. Facilities were great - allowing us to self cater for a couple of days. Easy parking directly outside unit & good laundry facilities. We'd been travelling for a while so that was a big plus. Nice little extra touches everywhere. Negative: Just outside of the main Port Fairy area - which is a short drive away - but we didn't mind.

Nice but incorrectly described Positive: The villa was generally well equipped and had nice bed linen, a comfortable bed and a lovely location Negative: The villa was incorrectly described as having 2 bedrooms. It has one bunk bedded bedroom. The other room is a lounge/kitchen/dining room with a double bed in it. The photos are very cleverly taken to not show this. There is also only a small 2 seater sofa so if you have 4 people I’m not sure where the other 2 are meant to sit.

Positive: A compact and clean villa set beside a few other similar villas in a grassy field. Very quiet and well away from the main attractions. Negative: Although we were contacted by the owners by Booking.com it did feel that it was being conducted very much at arms length. Arrival was confusing as no numbers in outside of villa. Very limited house info available inside. Although we stayed on a Friday night we found Port Fairy very quiet with a very limited choice of options open for eating the seafood we had been hoping for.

Home sweet home Positive: Such an incredible villa to stay for a weekend getaway! It was in a perfect location and staff were kind and friendly to communicate with.
